Choose what I want? That's the reason we have the market.

With this way of thinking, why don't we also have 3 browsers (stock, chrome, Firefox,...), 3 pdf readers , 3 file managers,...?

Thanks for the feedback.
installing from market puts it in apps
when its part of the rom its in system
launchers work better in system

removing it takes less effort than adding it
just adb shell into it
and rm the app

i think the approach of putting all 3 is good
it pleases everyone

Don't. People should learn to remove it on their own. Deleting 3-4 apks in /apps is not such a hard thing to do.

My opinion, I like having the option to remove what I want with root explorer, I believe others agree if you don't like what's there remove it, easy to do, stop whining! LC has done a great job!

Edit: besides there are more important issues LC n others would like to iron out....I believe also much more important

Now this is an intelligent answer.

But as soon as you update from the market it doesn't use the system version anymore. So what do you do then? Manually move it?

Agree its not hard to delete apks before you install people just need to quit being so lazy and expect every rom to be handed to them on a silver platter just the way they want.
Read,Learn, and customize on your own.
It's a better feeling to know I did this on my own ,I know what Im doing now and didn't have it handed to me

when an app is in the system folder and updated
it remains in the suystem folder
have a look at your phone
you will see its still there
