Looks interesting, but the overlay script is sufficient if you ask me.

My Moto: Keep the ROM stock (AOSP) and as small as possible and apply the mods after if needed

FX Camera works great. Stock camera still shows a problem in the top, left section of the photo. Video force closes and panorama doesn't work. Camera is not an issue for me, I'm sure the boys will work it out before the final release.

2D rendering seems to have done the trick for now!

Those were the exact apps I tried first.
Acidspider's solution seems to have worked, but the market displays black, which I'm not to fussed about since I find it easier to use the web market & I get notified of updates.

I will be doing all of my further camera development http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=21527829 and releasing the source when it is completed. This is to prevent varied results based on other factors.

Interesting to know that their is individual determination and dedication to resolve this. I hope all that have issues with the camera will follow this and not complain, restate, or ignore the issues posted over the 550+ pages...

will have a look what could have changed since 1.5.0 to screw with dpi.. really weird

does all test versions of 1.5.0 have this issues?
