Screw kies just flash official firmware from Doky's thread. Samsung hasn't pushed the latest firmware to your region I guess.

yes. sylvane is correct. you cant update to LA2 now. Just flash the latest LA2 on doky's thread.

Because your using combination frm firmware.. You can flash new firmware in doky's thread

Have you tried using software update in DATA Mobile (3G) or wifi? me and my sister do that and there's no problem. much easier with kies.

but if you want to update it immoderately just flash it with odin and look for doky's thread.

The problem is.

You need to know the exact IME or IMI code ( Sales Code) of the Philippines to set your MMS and GPRS right. (if im not mistaken)

So before flashing it make sure to know that.

You can get your IMEI number from the box your phone came in (it's printed on the sticker on the side of the box), or type *#06# into the dialer to find out yours. Everyone's is unique.

OTA is easier to update with but if the latest firmware isn't available in your region yet you're out of luck. Also it doesn't work if you've messed with some system apps.
