Default App compatibility

I have a quick question about App compatibility. I am going to Disney in early May and wanted to give their official app (Mobile Magic) a try, but when going to the market place, I found that the Rezound is not currently compatible.

Is there any way for me to get it to work? I have a little time before we go, but I have no idea how often they update the app for newer phones.

The first thing you do is download it and try it.

He can't. If the market says it isn't compatible, then it won't let him download it to try it.

Current Phone: Galaxy S3 16GB White on VZW
Current ROM: AOKP JB Build 4

Yea, exactly. I guess I should have been a little more clear and mentioned that I was on the market website not the app on the phone.

Ha, yea, a tablet but it is not compatible with that either. It is compatible with my old Droid Charge which I no longer have though

you could alter the build.prop so that it would let you download it. No promises that it will work.

You should be able to grab the app on the web version of the market and then install it on your phone regardless of compatibility. Or try one of the other markets like Amazon or app brain(if they carry the app).

If I use the web version of the market it shows up, but will not let me send it to the device. I can try Amazon or AppBrain to see if either of them work.

I am assuming in order to alter the build prop I would have to be rooted to do so, which I am not currently.

I'm assuming its a paid app? You could always just download the .apk. But that would be illegal..
