Yes, it looks like they are making it more like ICS in this build.

Yep. I only use release builds for mainver.

Should be, yes. Ext_sd is the path to my sd card.

I tried flashing the ROM from scratch, I stored it in /ext_sd when copying it in Windows, but in Amon Ra when I went to the SD card it couldn't mount it. I went to internal storage then ext_sd; is that normal/to be expected? Sorry, some of this stuff works differently from the Droid X I used a ton of different ROMs on.

Everything seems fine except I can't get wi-fi working, it's still hanging on trying to turn it on and this is after wiping everything (5 times to be sure it did it) and flashing the ROM again.

Yes. Although, you could have just opened it in Explorer and looked at what was in there. I assume you know what's on your own micro sd card :P

/sdcard2/ and /sdcard/ext_sd both lead to the same place: the microSD card.
