Default [q] stable/good ROM

other than stock 6.5 which other roms (Android, wp7, Ubuntu anything) have EVERYTHING working? and is smooth enough to be used? (i dont need silky smooth, but i don't like anything that runs like win vista on single core pc....lol)

basically i don't play lots of 3d games, and i like long battery life and good camera and decent music (not any "awesome" sound quality needed really...it should just sound good...not cracking noises and all)

Any OS will do, Android has everything working, and wp7 nearly so. Sd card android performs identically to NAND. Faster if it's a RAM build even, but worse battery life than NAND. Ubuntu doesn't work as well, but it's sd card only, so it's not your main OS.

If you want a ROM with everything working on the HD2, the Android Froyo Sense ROMs or Gingerbread AOSP ROMs are your best bet (Hyperdroid and Nexus HD2 are my personal favorites). I'm currently running WP 7.5 and have not experienced any hangups with the OS or any applications. Overall, the HD2 handles WP7.5 really well but you have to be able to live with no compass, buggy multi-touch, and mediocre pictures.

i actually need a working gps (i use sygic on Android currently),
a working camera (i don't care about hd video recording, but still photo should be good), a music player that can at least play songs without cracking (i don't care quality of music) and perfectly working phone/data/internet/wifi.

rest...if functions r not present....i can live with that..

Default just try one

Hey man, don't worry most roms if not all work pretty good the hd 2s battery is not the best but I've just learned to live with it. it depends on how you use it if you play a lot of games then your battery won't last very long I listen to music all day sometimes. I've had android on this hd 2 for a year so far hyper rom is my favorite gingerbread rom an pure cm very smooth rom I'm using a ics rom now an love it.

ok... so i guess I'll be buying out my friend's used hd2 then. (he never flashed anything....so I'll take it and straightaway tear it apart...multibooting, overclocking everything....)

it's THE most hacked phone in the world...and i really wanna own it.

i believe it still has a long way to go....
