DONATE TO ME
Completely wipe your phone, then use odin and flash one of the newer builds. I personally use el13. I would do the full tar with data and all.

i flashed 2.8.1 and at first it was good, i keep getting error sending texts, , tried different modems and desperado kernel, wiped cache, dalvik and nothing would work, flashing another rom as i type..good luck

update: i just found out the problem was not the rom, i have an airave and when i disconnected it the problem went away, i was having drop calls too, not anymore, now i just have to call sprint since my signal is weak inside my home, maybe they just need to reset my airave...

Try resetting your data profile.

1) Bring up dialer
2) ##72786#
3) Enter your MSL
4) Reboot
5) Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates -> Update Profile

MSL?

Edit: got my msl from terminal emu. Network is preparing services [how can it do this without NETWORK SERVICE is beyond me]. Still waiting.
