a few days ago i just saw MIUI v4 ICS and i really liked it. but there was just one problem! my phone is not supported yet

NOTE

*since MIUIv4 has no full theme support, only ICONS, LOCKSCREEN & WALLPAPER are working

*for GB MIUI there is no restriction, so everything is going to work

NOTE

since MIUI devs have screwed the theme manager in the latest version, you have to apply the theme/icons manually
(this is only for ICS/JB MIUI users only. GB users are not affected)

1.) for my theme only icons work anyway, so first you have to extract the icons file from the mtz
2.) push it to the system theme folder
e.g.

adb push icons /system/media/theme/default/

or

copy the icons file to your phone, and move it with any root explorer to the above mentioned folder

3.) reboot & be happy

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

some of you have made a real good job, but you have to follow some rules!

please take a look to the attached picture!

your icon glyphe must be inside the red square, and if you glyph is white or kinda dark/black, use the layer styles!

other then that please dont release on your own dl links/packs and in other forums!

i we like to expand the MIUIv4 style, we have to keep some kind of quality level

*dont replace stock icons
*make sure you followed the turorial/instructions as much as possible
(i know not all icons can be done that way...)
*if your releasing more than 2 icons, please put them in a zip or such
(coz it takes like years to collect and rename them!)

how to find out process names

1st way
1. got to https://market.android.com/
2. search for app you need and open it
3. for example angry birds:
in the url bar you can see the process name like this

2nd way
1. download SystemPanelLite Task Manager from the market
2. open the specific app you need
3. press home button
4. go to SystemPanelLite
5. press the desired app name
6. you can see the process name

1. got to http://activities.droidicon.com/
2. type in the app you are looking for
3. pick the activity name

how to add your own icons

1. rename your xxxx.mtz file to xxxx.zip now extract everything to your desired folder.
2. rename the icons file to icons.zip
3. rename the icon png to the right process name (see first post)
4. open the icons.zip file and put the png into it
5. rename it back to icons (without .zip)
6. now put the icons file into your xxxx.zip and rename it back to xxxx.mtz

done...

Well done, this is looking really good, feels strange though to use a light theme for a change.
