Thats true buddy . . .

But we could have increased R's user base if they had given a full review earlier as some people treat it to be the only website with best reviews and spec description. I think gsmarena is a pretty good & reliable website but not the only one of its kind around.

It is samsung which is supposed to market this phone and they dont. I really dont understand samsung marketing, the galaxy R and galaxy W are great phones for their price but samsung has done little to no marketing for them.

If the galaxy R becomes more popular then in my eyes it is not only better than LG optimus 2X but also better than HTC sensation as the display is much better than the ****ty Super LCDs of HTC.

I agree, the marketing side really sucks in case of our handset. Not to mention that it is listed among other phones on just 22 national websites (For example u still cannot find a picture and specs of it on swedish website)

HTC Incredible S's (which I had before) Super LCD was actually very good. The phone was crappy but I wouldn't say the display was any worse than on SGR. I don't know about Sensation but it has higher resolution for sure. HTC's old devices were really very solid and I honestly wouldn't change them for those from samsung. But those new...are just crappy toys.

prob is samsung doesn't care about W,and R, they just want to sell S2,note,ace and Y. They are focused on those models, maybe samsung prefer to sell exynos rather tegra2 chipsets... I dont see ppl going for future W2 and R2 if ever released, but al least we have confirmed ICS for R, not that lucky for the W handset...

I assume you never took out the incredible S in the sun, then the difference between that and the LCD of the galaxy R would be really clear.

The sensation actually has a worse LCD than incredible. It's still very reflective but it has poor viewing angles as well, I found the blacks to be a bit lacking as well. Resolution really isnt a top priority for me especially not more important than reflectivity and contrast.

I did and the display was still the only advantage of the phone for me at that time. But I didn't have SGR with me to compare so maybe you're right. I'm not arguing about that.
