Has it ever worked on 4.0.3? I just tried on stock with Pete's tether fix and it reverts to 3g during tether.

wifi tether from the market let me do tethering w/ 4g...

Sorry Joe, can't help you as I've never used my phone to tether. I have a very fast wifi connection inn my house and since I don't have any laptops to take on the go, I've never had the need.
