Question [Q] Is it possible to install Android without going through Linux?

I'd love to be able to use Android on my Omnia 2, but it looks like it involves some linux, at which I'm complete novice.
Is there a way to install Android on Omnia 2 from a MS Windows computer?

There are 2 methods to install Android on our Omnia 2

Method 1: Using the auto installer to install on the external SD Card.
Download the package from the developers website http://o2droid.phj.hu/index_en.php

Method 2: Using Ubuntu to install in the internal storage

It is not difficult to install Android using Linux,
Use Ubuntu Live CD, download from the below link
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download

There are also instructions on the website on how to make Live CD, or you may Google it for step by step instructions.
Once you have Ubuntu loaded you may follow my Video tutorial on the below link for step by step instructions to install Android on Omnia 2 using Ubuntu

I've been trying the first method, but my Omnia 2 keeps freezing in the middle of installation. The developer doesn't seem to run a discussion forum on his website. Do you know if he provides support on XDA?

I don't think there should be a problem if its version 7 now, The tool is made for certain task (to create partitions) and it should do it.
