*-Copy the Razer Asia Recovery.zip to your Sdcard
*-Razr Bootstrap Recovery
*-Install zip from Sdcard
*-Flash
*- install from market voodoo OTA rootkeeper
*- use it to backup the root
*- update the OTA 65.1.21.XT910
*- use voodoo OTA rootkeeper again to restore root
*- reboot

Does moto-fastboot flash system.img also work on locked bootloader?

As we can see from the picture he took, it showed that Device is LOCKED. That should mean that his Razr is locked and he still did it. No?

Thank you , my phone is back to root and updated with new firmware. Follow the instructions, take 2 to 3 hours
with lost of some not so important app that telco installed - no big deal.

can someone please re-upload the "SPDREM_U_01.6.5.1-73_SPU-11-PASS-10_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Servi ce1FF_fastboot.xml.zip" to another online server, it seems that filserve is going down (hope not) like Megauplaod....

now.. i am stuck at this step..
at ClockworkMod Recovery, i selected "install zip from SD", it says the following:

--Installing:/sdcard/recovery/Razr_Asia_Recovery.zip
Finding Update Package...
Opening Update Package...
Installing update...
Installation aborted.

Anyone can help me here?

yes.

here is step by step of what i did.

1. get all the necessary files downloaded
2. using rsd, i flashed the european 651.73.23.xt910.retail.en.eu
3. using zoomlord's zergling rush, i unlocked my phone.
4. double checked my root status using the application Root Check Basic [confirmed phone is rooted]
5. Installed Voodoo OTA RootKeeper [did i do this step wrong? your guide says do this at last step before OTA update]
6. installed Razr Bootstrapper
7. Accidentally pressed Bootstrap Recovery.. [did i do wrong here as well?]
8. Pressed Reboot Recovery..
9. It just will not install..
--Installing:/sdcard/recovery/Razr_Asia_Recovery.zip
Finding Update Package...
Opening Update Package...
Installing update...
Installation aborted.

at first i thought maybe it is the zip file problem.. so i re-un-rar the file (downloaded from mediashare), and used winzip to zip it up using no compression.. still same except the file size is now 400+ mb

Please help.. i've been at my desk for 3 1/2 hours now..
