Is it possible to unlock phone if a HDPI theme is applied?
Have tried a few MIUI themes but none of the lock screens have worked and all I could do was reflash rom

Use milocker app from market, if you wanna apply hdpi locks. Currently miui isn't officially compatible with ldpi/mdpi phones.

Cool. I'll try that. Thanks

EDIT: I tried installing MiLocker but it won't install over the top of the version released with the rom. Maybe needs to be done as an update with cwm?

maybe you should delete the old one before and push new one to system?

I could try to pretend that I know how to do that, but to be honest I don't have a clue. Find the apk somewhere on phone and delete it then try market install again?
