Internet sharing is not on this one? Doesn't seem to be.

Thank you Ansar for this great job. There are some problems with the ROM, here are what I found no internet sharing, Touchxperience does not work, no registry editor in settings, and no 3G connection, the good thing (or bad) is I have a static MAC address now.

And also when I wanted to update through ZUne after installing U2M8107 zune says your phone is up to date (7.1 7720)

Internet sharing removed from description, thnx for commenting!!

For unlocking you should follow these steps

- run U2M8107

- tap on ansar Unlock

- follow the provisioning steps

- tap on dev unlock / eXit

- power off and power on the device

Ansar it is unlocked there is not a problem for unlocking but for updating it does not update through zune. When I try to update it says your phone is update (version 7.1 7720). Any advice what to do

After trying out a lot of custom ROMs, i have finally decided to go with this one because it is updatable through OEM cabs. I have updated to 8107, my Surround phone has the following specs -

OS Version 7.10.8107.79
Firmware V 2250.21.40300.502
Hardware V 0003
Radio Software V 5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21H
Radio Hardware V A.26.0.D4
Bootloader V 1.52.2250.4 (120323)
Chip SOC V 2.2.5.0

Is there any update available beyond this? There are no updates beyond 7720 available through Zune for the Surround.
