Dual impact would probably offer more protection. It's a hard plastic layer on the outside and rubber inner layer and lip. Though the dual impact case is much harder to remove.

White Samsung Note 2 with UAG Navigator
Gradient Blue HTC One S with Blue Trident Aegis
Black Google LG Nexus 4

Hmmm sounds about right i also read that with one of the products people were complaining that the case would crack on its own along the corners or something.

Haven't tried any other cases but I love my Diztronic case $10 well spent!

I can tell you the regular D30 case is sweet, breaking in the buttons is frustrating at first, but don't cut it - just wait about three weeks it gets easier

I just received my Reiko Hybrid case that I ordered from Amazon.

I wanted an Otterbox but they aren't making one for the T989. This case seems like good substitute.

It consists of a hard 2 piece inner shell and a soft rubber outer shell. Everything fits together nicely. Feels pretty solid. The screen and camera lens are well protected when laying the phone down. The case has a kickstand that works in portrait or landscape. The external power and volume buttons work great and are easy to push. The headphone and usb jacks have retractable covers that keep dust and dirt from getting in when they are not in use. I like how the hard case covers the edges of the screen protector. No edge bubbling and the pull down notification bar and bottom buttons are not blocked at all.

It's a pretty solid case. I think the phone is well protected from moderate falls. It does add some bulk to the phone but personally I like the heft. For the price, I don't think you'll find a better case for your GS2.

Can you post pics of your phone in the case. I want to see how it compares to the trident.

There is a pretty good video review on youtube. It sold me. I would post the link but I'm not allowed to post links yet.

But go to youtube and search Samsung Galaxy SII T989 Reiko Review.

Let me know what you think.

FWIW, I like this case alot.
