Default Change Ur build Number by ur self

actually u can change ur build number with ur self...

1.) Ur phone must be ROOT..
2.) U need RoootEx (root Explorer). go to work...
3.) open ur Rootex
4.) Go to system mount as RW
5.) klick and hold build.prop open in text editor
6.) find ro.biild.display.id= (change with every name u want)
7.) restart.

DONE...
Now u use a build number with ur name...

LOL btw... do make a backup of the file.. playing around will most likely land you in trouble..
Plus try ROMtoolbox to do the tweaks.. its easier..

and ro.build.version.release for version number..

after i changed the version number to 4.0.1 and restared the phone , it said unknown for version number

Current device= SAMSUNG GALAXY Y GT s5360
Current ROM = Stock rom DDLC2 (rooted) with merruktechnology KERNEL beta
Recovery = Permanent CWM (by Maroc-os)

My version number is 4.0.2 and it's work...
