Screen Problem

Hi Guys,

I dropped my desire S today( I know I got clumsy hands , the glass looks fine and the touch is also working fine as usual, but the LCD image seems to be damaged partially in right side from top to bottom...several lines appear and the display is in black and white(negative image)... :'(


My Question is Can I send this back to HTC?, FYI it is rooted and S-offed, How much will they charge? Will the root affect the repair, if not is there a way I can S-ON it back. Please advise or guide me.

there a lot of guides for returning your device to S-ON. You can also flash an appropriate RUU which i believe returns your device to S-ON and stock

also posting in the Q&A probably would've gotten you more help.

I'm sorry I can not solve your problem, but I agree with dan-fish and I'm sure nobody will blame you if you post this in the Q&A section again. You'll get a solution very quick I think
