Is the camcorder supposed to work? because I'm unable to take videos, or does it just not work yet?

Default Angry Birds issue...

Firstly- I'm running AR28 and did a dirty install from AR27. I did do a full wipe to AR27 and I believe a quick flash of AR28 over AR27 was allowed in this case (without causing issues, supposedly). And I know there have been issues with games and such but I just thought I'd throw in my experience and see if I can help get to the cause in any way...

When my phone is on and at least 1 or 2 apps have been opened since the last reboot (so 99% of the time) if I open Angry Birds it will freeze after the title screen, before I can even press "start". It freezes for between 4-15 seconds and then dims for a second and then restarts itself... (I've only tried it with Angry Birds - Seasons, if that matters).

BUT, after the restart (or from a normal restart initiated by me) if I boot the game up before I do anything else it will work fine...

So... I downloaded alogrec from the market and ran it while I reproduced the issue... and I posted the logcat (I believe that's what it is called) here...
http://paste2.org/p/1975703

I tried using the alogcat app from the market but since I can never go in and save the file (as it freezes then restarts my phone) I had to use an app that just kept recording...

Hope this wasn't confusing and I'm not looking for a fix as much as I'm hoping anything about my story or logcat might help a dev or user in some way.

Thanks again for the great rom.

existz,

Where does platform_frameworks_base / core / java / android / provider / Settings.java end up after the build process? I'm wondering if it's in an apk that I can decompile to try and add a center clock option. There are other files that dsmitty has for the option as well.

Or does this need to been done during the build process?

Edit
------------------------
These are the dsmitty files I was refering to: https://github.com/dsmitty166/

I am hoping this can be done by editing the files after you release them instead of trying to build it from source, which I don't know how to do.

Most likely you will need to edit before compiling.. To be honest I'm not to familiar with the whole decompiling/backsmali stuff (never had to do it since I've always built from full source)..so I'm not sure what all can be edited that way (as I know there's just some stuff that can't be done without compiling.)

thought i would share what this guy has done. its a custom touch based installer within the cwm zip. read post 7863. he explains what all he has planned for this new way of flashing roms. its pretty neat. gives you full control over how you flash your rom
