I am very happy to propose you the FIRST custom rom for the Samsung Captivate Glide!
This rom is based on the released rom RUXKJ5 and work for both American and Canadian phones. The system has been made as light as possible and all "unnecessary" application has been removed.
Downloading.......I like the concept of Pure Stock minus the bloatware.....
Oh, I need to reflash the CWMR right? or not unless i flash a kernel kernel? @_@
No, once you flash recovery you are good. The kernel does not play into recovery on this device, so feel free to flash whatever kernels and roms you like.

-the text during the flashing process is clean and well organized!!!
-thanks to utkanos for cwmr
-thanks carpenoctem for this rom
EDIT: No root on first flash. need to flash zip from here but I guess it is a bad flash or download on my end.

Wow! Great stuff. 10 downloads in 4 hours and you are already working on the next release.
Downloading this right now. Can't wait to flash and try it out.
** EDIT **
Just trying out the ROM right now. Looks great but I noticed that the Google Talk apk has been removed. When I received a message through GTalk the notification still pops up and I can see the message in the notification bar. Unfortunately now there is no way to reply to the message or remove the notification.
