Default Data connection is completely gone!?

I have a Milestone, but I'm unable to get a data connection open. Everything is configured, I have an active APN, data is enabled, 3G is turned on. Yet there is nothing on the status bar - no E, nor H, nothing.
I was using CM7, switched to FroyoMod, did full reset, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

The rom switch might have had something go wrong, maybe try reflashing it?

Self-bump.

I'm getting this message in logcat:
I/TelephonyRegistry( 2092): notifyDataConnection: state=0 isDataConnectivityPossible=false reason=apnFailed interfaceName=null networkType=3

The APN settings are correct, I double checked them on my carrier's website. What else could be wrong?
The problem exists in both CM7 and CM9...

I still can't find a solution to this one.
I even tried a SIM card for a different carrier, I tried CM6, 7, 9. I wiped data, caches, still can't get it to work.
Anyone?

I/TelephonyRegistry( 2095): notifyDataConnection: state=0 isDataConnectivityPossible=false reason=apnFailed interfaceName=null networkType=3

Still can't find any way to fix the issue.

Log from the radio buffer would be more appropriate than the log from the main buffer.
Use logcat -b radio or post /cache/logger/AOL_radio.ap.bin if you have enabled the logger option.

Nitro, this is just a data problem or you have signal strength 0? Because that's my problem with Kabaldan's based unofficial nighties.

The signal sometimes drop to zero, but this might be because of my carrier.
The data connection issue is in all ROMs, irrelevant of my current location.
