If the goal is to make non-wipe pack, then try using other archiver app. Total Commander does the job well.

doesn't work, i can't open the tar files with total commander, it is not an archiver, but a file manager
-edit- never mind, got it working, will now test if it works right

Just a short sidenote... Total Commander is much-much more than a file manager...

Hi, i've been trying to get 2G,3G, calls, sms & mms working on my phone after installing that ROM.Im from turkey, everything works fine (3G, calls etc.) at first boot, but after waiting for a wihle and rebooting, my phone can't be called by anyone, i can't call anyone either, i can't receive SMS, can't send any, i checked phone options in settings, its the same with my service provider's settings on the website.

I get 'network not found' error while trying to call someone.
I tried to restore my nandroid backup of LK1 and everything worked fine, can call anyone etc., so it has nothing to do with my sim card, though MB1 felt smoother than LK1

S5360_XXLK1_OXFLK1_XXLH2 worked fine for me (the latest version in first post), is there any solution to this? I'm gonna try other latest ROMs before MB1, any suggestions?

Im sure i flashed this properly, as i tried it about 5 times, with both stock and custom kernels, i'd appreciate any help

I really appreciate what you guys are doing, i'd be screwed with a bricked phone at my hand if this thread didn't exist

Note: I didn't mix up any CSC or other flashables while flashing MB1, would it make any difference if i did?

Re: [Stock][ROM][Odin] Galaxy Y S5360 flashable firmware packages
I recently flashed the Merruk 2.5 kernel on a DDKK1 stock rom. Now I want to reflash my stock rom with one of these here. The thing is I've tried flashing these roms before after i got tired of a custom rom. But when i tried flashing it just got stuck in like a quarter way through on the Odin progress bar and it does not move. Why???? I follwed all the steps correctly. Also, i've flashed stock roms from other sources, and they had pit and boot files (apparently this is for phones that are soft bricked) and they worked just fine. Now I want to know if i try to flash one of these stock roms will it work? Do i need the boot and pit files? Where can i get them (since they're not here)?, are these boot and pit files specific to the package you're flashing or can one use just any boot and pit file?
