yeah.....I read the OP again and changed it. rebooted...took a sec for the 3G to connect but I can tell a difference. Downloaded a game from the market and it was done in no time!

Is this going to have any change on the battery?

Haven't noticed any excess battery drainage. It shouldn't cause any since all we are doing is allowing the flow of data to be what it should be not throttled down

Testing something for an update with a new addition....I suffer from very poor signal at home and no matter what only get 100kbs even with the mod...even though the mod about doubled from what I had before it. This new idea thanks to a fellow x2r I chatted with gave me 200k speed downloading a file with a -102 dBM signal in conjunction with the build.prop edit. Looks like it stabalized the signal so I don't jump towers at home like I did too. Just need some more testing and should be out this weekend

I've got pretty decent speed after the mod.

It is under /System and should be right on top.

My download speed from my test today with a -62 DbM signal was 45mb in 3 mins. Speed was often in the 400kb-500kb/s range today where prior was 250-300 avg with the build prop mod. Going to runa few others with the new file and the build prop edit and go from there. If the reproduce then I will post it later today.
