Does work after a reboot and fixing permissions. Pretty basic app drawer but definitely an option and it allows you to hide apps.

Its should work when u go into the app drawer settings tab at the bottom hit enable and the pull down will b jst below you status bar.

Hi guys,

I'm sorry to say that I will not be updating this weeks or for the foreseeable future, I am currently out of work and its getting to a point that if I don't get a new job soon I'm screwed.
So I am refocusing my attention and riding my self of some distractions one of which is this MIUI port.
I hope that as and when I get a new job and if time allows I will be able to continue doing weekly builds.
I would like to thank you all for you support.

Cheers

Chris

Good luck with your job search. Sometimes the real world just has to take priority Thanks for the work you have put in to this rom. For me it is a perfectly good dd as it is!

for those of us still using this rom there is a fix for the latest chrome beta issue. Change ro.build.id to IML74K and reboot. Chrome will now believe that you are running ics.

To change build.props either edit them directly with es explorer or use adb. My preferred method is to use Rom Toolbox.

The latest beta is very smooth on this rom. For me it is much better than stock.

Just installed Angel Camera from the market (free app). This is giving me glitch free picture using the fine mode set to a resolution of 2048x1360. Much better than the stock camera or any other app I've tried.

Ok, I dont know if this is just me, but my permissions wont work. Superuser, and app permissions both turn themselves off right after I leave the security app. Any fix?

Unhappy using MIUI-v4 beta2 / v2.2.17
That's too bad this is no longer under development, it really is a great ROM.

fwiw, here's a couple of issues I noticed on my HTC G2 (Vision):
  • wired headphones not working (can hear audio, but no go on the mic)
  • netflix streaming video broken
  • as listed, the camcorder is not functional
  • camera is working slightly, but with noise at the top/bottom of photos. (panorama option broken, just green lines)
  • no google talk!
  • joining contacts via facebook not pulling in profile picture as main contact photo
  • pressing 'Enter' does not send an SMS message, it creates a new line.

* Not sure if this is an issue or not (considering it is MIUI afterall), but the User Agreement and Privacy Policy that are to be agreed to in order to use Online MIUI Themes are not localized for review in any language other than Chinese.

Anyhow, wanted to send my thanks for such a great ROM. For such an early release, it's almost entirely useable for most day-to-day tasks. I hope the other ICS ROMs are as good as this one has been!
