I have b16 and it runs very well, I have only headset control buttons problem, them don't work in music app. Am I the only one with this problem?

To have a CPU1 kick in when needed:
Open "init.qcom.post_boot.sh" from "/system/etc/"
You'll see the following:

...BLABLABLA...
case "$target" in
"msm8660" | "msm8660_csfb")
... BLABLABLA... VV DELETE These 2 lines VV
echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/online
echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
;;
esac
...BLABLABLA...

Then reboot and you should see in system tuner that CPU1 goes offline ...

i noticed that in b17 are less tweaks available than in b16 ...

i really liked some of the missing, for example the 2nd Carrier label or the button to show / hide recent apps...

Thansk E3D, but one more question:
After reading many threads I still have a question regarding the PG86.IMG update process. Please correct me if I am wrong. Here the step by step I understood:
1- Place the PG86.IMG at the root of the sd card
2- Reboot phone
2a - Then system will discover the file and then launch automatically the update
2b - When finish the system will ask if I want to reboot
3 - If I select reboot does it bootloop on step 2 and then and then without ending ?

I really do not understand Step 3 or how to delete the PG86.IMG file.

I think it is so easy after the first time, but I am a bit afraid to staying blocked on step 2.

Help appreciated.

Turn off your phone, take out sd card, boot into fastboot, insert sd card, boot into recovery, mount.USB storage to computer, delete.
