[Q] Camera upgrade?

There is tutorial for replacing broken camera (here is link at ifixit, delete link if not allowed http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installi...d-Camera/6075/), any chance can put better spec'd upgrade lense camera with more megapix/resolution/etc?

It might be possible if the hardware fits, but then there may be a driver issue.

Yep-driver would be key, and cyanomod 9 doesnt do cam yet anyway, but potential is there, especially cam coming from a droid device.

It looks just like the iPhone 3g camera. If I could take the touch pad apart I actually have a couple cameras laying around from my iPhone repair days.

It does look very similar. That'd be pretty sweet if had the same pin-out.
