Default Torrent app that can save to network?

Hi All,

I have aDownloader installed currently, upon trying to save to smb location. (i copy location path from ES file explorer)
I get "location unknown" or something of the sort.

Just trying to make it easy for my wife to be able to choose what she wants to download on my TFP, it downloads to my media centre PC. Then watch it on the home theatre

Thanks guys

I'm not sure if the client Transmission is available for PC but if you download that client and download Remote Transmission for your tablet then you can add torrents and it will download to your PC.

Like ayman07 said, a lot of the PC torrent programs have android remote apps that allow you to control them from the phone or tab. Search the market and see it your bittorrent client has one.

Get the latest utorrent.
Set up the webui by typing a user/pass
log in via https://remote.utorrent.com/ with your user/pass.

Now, download the utorrent remote app.
Add your torrents from your phone/tablet.

You can even transfer the files to your tablet/phone via wifi by clicking the phone icon.

This works the best for me.

Well...

It might not be the same thing, but i personally have utorrent set up perfectly at home.

Sooooo i added a watch folder that goes to my dropbox. Now all i do is drop the torrent files in my drop box folder and my utorrent at home will automatically download the file.

No additional programs or settings.

Works for me, might work for others.

Trying out this E4GT...

Ive configured my home pc with webui. When opening torrents i choose to use the torrent app, but then the browser just crashes and torrent isnt added to the downloads section...

Any ideas?
Im using the bittorrent client.
Suppose ill have to to try either utorrent or a non-stock browser.

That works too. I used to do the same thing with a network drive but i didn't think about dropbox. Good call.

I do like to see the progress of the download but that isn't necessary.

I had trouble too at first. For some reason the utorrent client did not update. Make sure you have the latest utorrent client installed.

I just really want to know that it finished, So i have it set up that when the torrent finishes downloading, the torrent file is removed from the dropbox folder.

You can also create folders within that folder, and have the torrent file moved from the main to a "working" folder when it is being worked on and then to a "completed" folder when it is done.

That way you can be sure that the file is being worked on and also when it is completed.

Hope that helps.
