No need for that at all just install it like any other rom you have flashed before

just do the factory wipe and cache wipe and install the rom from cwm if you are switching from cm.

if you are going for a fresh install dont add the rom and gapps file in cminstall folder when the device reboots into clockworkmod flash the rom and gapps from the sd card

Hey Rev one of the things that may be a good idea, is when explaining the insertion of the rom and gapps, to show how to create a folder on the sd card. I have done this, along w/ many others, naming the folder something likes "ICS Install". Then when in cwm they will see that folder and be able to flash those 2 file and not be concerned about all the other files in cwm install screen.

No. Wipe factory reset, wipe cache flash ROM, flash Gapps.
