Gb requires less resources so you must've been doing something run or settings in apps, etc... i can make GB die real quick and make ICS last longer vice versa.

just a simple wakelock(s) can kill your battery, Simple CPU freq. Configs (I/0 & Governor's)

If your so happy with cm7, why don't you go post in some cm7 relevant threads? We are all using cm9. Also, one of the cm9 devs already corrected you that the lack of RAM (those resources your speaking of) isn't the factor behind additional battery drain. I myself have excellent battery life on cm9, for the record.

well i tried CM9 beta and its killing my battery faster same setup as CM7 so ICS is the culrpit i know there are several other factors that needed to be squashed and killed for good but i 100% guarnFu*ktee lol that battery will never be the same.

its gotten better but its still not up top par as GB can is all, and the whole ICS isn't worth dying over GB for is all im saying.

No i got it to take my sh*t somewhere else because you feel like that its irrelevant. i was just talking to him commenting that its not just him that ICS drains the battery but other reason i know of, but some do get good battery life and others dont.

If some get good battery life and some don't guess what "isn't" the variable in the equation.

lemme guess "battery drain", but its too funny though everything is a factor.
Ex. My Epic vs Friends Epic running same setup:
Mine runs hotter but is faster when it comes to performance, his runs cooler but slower, mine can OC to 1.5GHz+ his barely handles 1.3GHz, my battery (Testing Stock OEM) doesn't last as long as his does too with the same usage averaging about.

I installed .6 yesterday on cm9 beta 0. I did not installed voltage control.

My phone is doing 100mhz with no problem, deep sleep no problem, and battery life (over the last 24 hours) seems at least as good as stock cm9 beta 0.

Thanks for the kernel!

Those two guys should get a room already...LOL. The CM9 issue is not RAM but the series of wakelocks not letting the phone sleep continuously. The keep awake time on most of us is easily double the screen on time. But it gets better with every release.
