Whatsapp for kindle fire

When I install whatsapp on kf it gives me application not installed
So why
i'm using airdroid to download it because it doesn't appear in android market
so what can I do??

Okay I installed it but know hen I open it popup msg appeared told me that this devices is not supported

From the notes and description on the app it says it uses your phone number to associate you, so your friends can find you without having to know another screen name/pin etc. so since the KF doesn't have a phone number, it probably wont work unless there is a post some where on how to spoof a phone number.

I got it working for me, you can only get it working if you are already using it on an android phone:
Then just titaniumbackup it and copy the three (or two I don't remember:P) files with whatsapp in the name to your kindle fire.
then you can just restore it with data using titaniumbackup on your kindle fire.

Sending works perfectly but receiving messages only works sometimes. Sometimes you will get it on your phone and sometimes on your tablet.

I only tried this on CM7

viber also uses fone number but it works on kindle fire...so i dont know why whatsapp does not work
