Hi Guru_shastri,

I don't think it really matters. I am fairly new at this but from what I understand is that they are 2 different partitions so I don't really see how they would affect each other by order. The only thing I would suggest is having a working recovery first and doing a nandroid backup just in case the kernel installation goes sour.

Hope that helps.

Cheers bud!

thanks mate.
another question:
is there a difference between the insecure kernel that comes with the root process and the other kernel?
can i stay with the insecure or must i flash the other one on it after rooting?

Yeah probably would be a big difference. The insecure kernel was just made for the rooting process to my understanding. The actual DooMKernel has all the customizations, patches, improvements, and overclocking ability. I am running DooMLoRD kernel and its awesome bro. I've had no issue's what so ever and it runs so much better, I would recommend. Maybe DooMLoRD can explain this better if he is around...

Cheers!
