So, "Ultrapixels" was just marketing fluff, as I predicted. It's just a lower-res sensor that supposedly is a bit larger (although I've yet to see anybody state the actual size), to get a larger photodiode size.
Please fire the marketing drone that came up with "ultrapixels", they're going to take a hammering for that.
