My glasses are polycarb and they take a beating and still the lenses are in good condition. I always pay for the upgraded polycarb because they have been very durable for me. I take better care of my phone than glasses so inhave no worries for this premium plastic if I decide to jump on the one x

gizmodo testing apple claim vs T3

To test user experience, we downloaded some apps that are available on both platforms (iOS and Android) and opened them both simultaneously. Facebook, Twitter, Fruit Ninja and others all opened and worked at nearly the exact same moment. How close was it? Close enough that it doesn't matter at all. That's the good news. Whichever tablet you have, it's super fast and great. Stop trying to brag to your friends about milliseconds and just enjoy your awesome toy already.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there was no clear winner here. Results seem to indicate that for blasting through graphics, the GPU (graphics processing unit) in the iPad's A5X is faster. But for your average day-to-day usage, the CPU on Transformer Prime takes it. I'd love to see a good, cross-platform CPU test emerge, but until then, we'll just have to listen to nerds screaming at each other. Get your earplugs ready.

Exactly..! Who cares about Millisecond difference. If it can play Games and day to day apps work without any lag I'm happy.

I was thinking about that yesterday and, to be honest, I find my Nook Touch plastic cover more confortable to hold than my HD2 aluminum back cover.
HTC Hero -> HTC HD2 -> HTC One X

Obviously the T3 is still better in CPU intensive tasks (like opening apps etc.). Apples claim was about GPU performance or not?

cant wait to get my hands on mine! pre ordered it from mobiles.co.uk on an orange 24 month contract for £31 a month and a tenner for the phone, they say 7-14 days, which is a week-2weeks before the 5th!

im guessing there making it up and i'll get it on the 5th-6th! wait and see, would be nice to have it 2 weeks before anyone else :P

glad to see its been rooted already too

just hope the batterylife is alright!

but like said above as long as it lasts a day im happy!
