Im hoping that is not video from the One X, but if it is, huge disappointment. I know for sure it can take great pictures, maybe it's just the video where it lacks. HTC always had this thing for bad video quality on their phones.
Why are those videos so jerky! They are amongst the worst phone videos I've ever seen, I think it's hopefully the way he's compressed and uploaded them onto that website.
Well using Google Translate his descriptions of the video:
In the movie to follow, however, we show how does the top of the line with the stabilizer off.
In this case the recording out to 28 frames per second, so that approaching thirty who should be the standard for the future final copy.
Increasingly convinced then that the movie is not over the top, just because of having a mature firmware on board, please keep in mind: we will repeat the same tests with the final version in order to show also improvements.
For the stabilizer on video:
After showing how fast it was on the phone, there was an opportunity to shoot a couple of movies and a few clicks and share them with the way we begin immediately.
Below you will find the movie realized that at 1920x1080 with the stabilizer turned on a recording leads, at times, 20 frames per second (note some uncertainty during the second half): this is most probably due to the setting software is not yet final, however, it seemed useful to give you a glimpse into the matter.
Some more general videos:
Now: Nexus 4 Rom: RasSaber - Nexus 4 on crack | Der Kernel: Trinity
Previous: HTC DesireHD > Samsung Galaxy SII > T-Mobile Rapport > Samsung Galaxy S (Backup) > Samsung Galaxy SIII (Brief ownership) > Samsung Galaxy Note II > HTC One X
Tablet: the New iPad
Yes I know! But it's a great tablet
where did you find that city night picture, and what device was it taken with?? It seems new pictures taken with the camera are leaking everyday and its hard to keep up
I suppose it is understandable as the One X is very slim and cannot fit a decent sensor but for anyone looking forward to decent pictures/video, I'd say you will be disappointed.

Well this could explain things a little... but still I don't think the camera is anything special.
As an android and HTC fan, im always hoping to beat that f... iphone camera and screen quality wise.
Till now, unfortunately it doesnt happen but with X, my hope rose again. I think screen would be very great but video quality?!?
Glad you post this video cause this iphone video doesnt satisfy me either! Actually gave my hope back cause i was just checking this thread just before watched the X's video:
Please check the post 265.
I really!!! like the videos.
Actually i was hoping much more better video result from X after i watched those videos. Thats why my disappointment was big.
But i think, with our great devs, X's camera also will do amazing job.

Sounds like a nice explanation about the bad quality

There isn't a lot more that I'd like from a phone camera and thanks for the video of the 4s as the only thing that impressed me was Bo the Monkey
I don't think the One X is final software yet and I believe that with such a good dev community on xda it will iron out all the little bugs in the software.
