U.S. Service Plan?

My 7.7 will be here today. What is the best plan to get in the United States? Is there a prepaid deal that is good or an AT&T plan that works well?
I will use mainly as a tablet with very little phone usage so minimum minutes would be okay and I'd like about 3GB (or unlimited if possible) data. The cheapest I could find on the AT&T website is about $70/mo before taxes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Look at the ATT prepaid plans. They have a $50 unlimited plan. That would probably be the best if you want unlimited data.

i was thinkin bout going into att and getting a prepaid data plan. Been searching around, dont know if this is possiable because its not an att tablet. Any info would be apperciated.

To get voice (minimum) plus data on ATT prepaid is like $60. To add an account and get more voice and 3 gb of data instead of 500meg with their prepaid is close to $80.
I've read you can get a Straight Talk account for $45/mo unlimited everything (meaning about 2 gig a month data then they kill you.)
If anyone has any ideas please share.

I have unlimited voice and unlimited data on ATT Prepaid and it costs me $50 month and thats it. Nothing more.

Where are you getting the $80 number from? I think your looking at the actual service plans and not the Go Phone PrePaid plans.

I bought a ATT sim card off of ebay. Signed up for a new account with new phone number. I put $100 on it and signed up for the $50 unlimited plan. It deducted the $50 from my original $100.

Been using my 7.7 like this the last month and no problems at all. Unlimited data, text messages and phone calls.

I dont know if an ATT actual "tablet Data Plan" will work with the 7.7


You might be better off buying the cheapest Pre Paid plan there is and just adding the data package onto that.

Buy the prepaid go phone sim card off Ebay. If you dont plan on using it as a phone sign up for like the 10cents a minute plan and add on the 500mb data for $25. So it will only cost you $25 month for the data.

Funny you posted this. I went to AT&T and got a sim card and bought the $50/unlimited. Everything was going great except data would not work. I searched and tried different settings but it wouldn't work.
I called customer service and had it switched to $2/day plus 500meg for $25. It worked immediately.
Can you share your settings (or what might be different) in case I might want to try again?

What are your apn settings?

yes, if so can you share the APN?
i have a 3gb tablet plan and cannot get it to work.
