Why can't I install this app on my stock deodexed 4.0.4 build. There is no option to send it to my phone from my browser and it doesn't show up in my android market when I search for it.

It says my device isn't compatible with this item:

everything looks perfect ... should work

Did you remove some permissions ?
Any broadcast errors form tasker received?

Sometimes there is a permission issue when tasker is installed second ... So if you installed Tasker after NFC ReTAG --> please reinstall (uninstall -> install) NFC ReTAG.

If this does not help ...please reboot and try again (should not be necessary .. but thats android ) ... and then give me some more info´s: Tasker version ... rom etc.

Looks like some weird market problem ...

Please try to clear the market cache first (settings/apps/market/clear cache) ....beside that the market has sometimes problems with custom LCD densities ... so if you changed something here, try some standard density.

thanks ... reinstalling the NFC ReTAG app was the solution!

Cleared the cache. Still can't find it. I'm running stock 4.0.4 rooted and deodexed. Can you perhaps just post the apk here for us to use?

Perhaps the market is not yet ready for your stock 4.0.4 rooted and deodexed rom and you have to wait a little bit...

iḿ having issues with tasker tasks, i'm trying to perform a task called home. which doe as it says goes to my home screen, but when i read the tag it shows the correct output but doesnt do it. have reinstalled both tasker and nfc.

ok some questions first :)

Did you check the "allow external access" option in Tasker?

Do the task work if you simulate it in Tasker?

Did you install tasker first and then NFC ReTAG? (it´s sometimes important to have tasker istalled first!)

Did you receive a broadcast error from tasker ?
