format sd-ext in cwm then from settings erase sd card and in go back in cwm and format sdcard and sd-ext ( doesnt matter if it says its not detected) and partition again on 512mb.. see if it will work that way

That's not weird at all. Mines is partitioned with 256 and shows 252. Leave it. Don't format your SD so much, you'll kill it quicker.

You know what? Just format your SD, partition it again and then flash your rom clean to avoid any issues. First thing you'll do is install S2E as soon as your phone boots.

You're messed up too much already.

Nah, everything will work fine. Doesn't really matter xD. The Ace lags a bit when launching apps even if everything is in the internal storage. Don't worry about it.

So you mean to say that changing to a class 4 sdhc card wont make a big difference??

Nah, not at all. I have one and I still get some mini lags now and then. Now if it was a class 6, then I don't know.

A couple days ago I followed this guide exactly as described and it's caused all kinds of problems with my phone.

GPS no longer works, auto-rotation can't be turned off, brightness control resets to min or max brightness for no apparent reason and everything has been slightly less stable lately.

Granted, I'm using CM7.2 Apocalypse instead of stock rom so that has unforeseen consequences too. It just makes me wish Samsung hadn't joked around and released a phone with more memory than the absolute basic
