[Q] AUS2 and HD Voice

I was playing around with my GN (running yakjudv build on Telstra) and I changed the band setting to AUS2. Does this affect the HD Voice functionality in any way, or are the two independent to each other?

Also, if an OTA update is applied, will this reset whatever change that was made to the band setting to its default?

HD Voice will only work on Telstra's NextG network (ie. UMTS 850 towers). If you set the phone to only work on UMTS 2100 (ie. 3TELSTRA) then it will not work.

Iirc one of the AUS bands is 850/2100 whereas the other is 900/2100. Can anyone confirm?

From what I've read, I think AUS prefers 2100MHz, whereas AUS2 prefers 850MHz. I haven't been able to test out HD Voice yet, as I need to find someone with a compatible phone to call.
