Question [Q] Galaxy5 Camera Problem in cyanogenmod 7.2

Camera in My Galaxy5 shuts off after zooming above 2x...
I have Cymod7.2 installed in it..
How to correct the problem??

It's a well problem and it's still present here with the last 1.9_h3..
The problem is that if you set the zoom to changed with the volume keys, when going above 2x the camera just crashes!!
as solution, try to change manually the zoom with your finger, after that it will not crash again even with the volume keys..

hope this will solve..

I have a similar problem. I flashed my HTC Cha Cha and also installed Cymod7.2.
The first time I opened the camera app it worked, but now it just hangs - even after restarting the phone.

I fixed it by installing Night Camera (cant give url as it is block in this post) and using it to take a photo and exited the app. Then when I went back into the CM7.2 camera and it was working again.

CM7 use the version 2.7 and if the problem persists you can use the ZooFX, this app helps with that.
