Ice Cream Sandwich For Chinese P6800

The ones I have tried to flash via Odin haven't worked; I heard somewhere this is because the Chinese P6800 has a locked bootloader or something like that. So I tried to flash a ROM posted in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1796866
via CWM but that also didn't work. I think the downloaded zip file is corrupt as the process was aborted in CWM mode.
I am now considering returning to Joaquin's advice on extracting the modem.bin file from the HK ROM to replace the Chinese modem so that I may be able to update my P6800 via KIES or using Odin. I've searched through the extracted folders but can't seem to find the file. You very kindly invited people to reply to you with questions about Joaquin's steps so that is why I'm replying to you rather than Joaquin. Perhaps you have an idea where I can find the modem.bin file...what does it look like, what's it called? I am very new when it comes to all this technical stuff.
Muchas gracias por su tiempo,
