I doubt if another installation round will make any difference since you did a clean install. But I guess there's no harm in trying....

I already do that, but although restoring IMEI, not restored the MAC address.
I discussed this, work in every .32 and official .35, but not present on .35 custom.... So Restoring doesn't work for me (at least in MAC)

Hmm... With PC works ok. Maybe it is somethink with MIUI browser. Will try with SP1.

Edit: tried with miui browser and opera but mediafire page would not load (any mediafire link). Weird...

Funny. It would not work for me either until I changed the browser's user agent to Desktop (Dolphin browser).

Does stock browser has a built-in firewall?

Sbasil, do you think your AdieHWCodec patch would work with .32 Elite Rom (2.3.16)?

I don't think that it is the firewall that is blocking your mediafire downloads....Just tried with the default browser....set the default agent to "chrome browser" and what do you know, it started to work.

It might even tho now that I tried it, I didn't notice any difference in sound recording quality anymore...It's pretty crappy at high volume

when i was exploring the folders by root explorer i see an interesting folder:
/.cust_backup/image/cust_data/elisa/ee
in that folder there are a lot of files and folders. for example there is .../media/bootanimation.zip which is android 2.2.2

i several times wipe before installing custom roms. so what is this folder, and should i erase it?
