Smile [Q] Amazon Kindle Fire to Android "Best choise"?

Hello xda-developers.com users. I am curently buying amazon kindle fire for my self (It is being shipped already). As I seen on many videos the the Amazon android version is fast, but has not many optios, the market had not so many apps. So the best option for me would be to make it and android tablet. So I want to know from the guys who already rooted kindle fire give me some instruction how to install CM7 on kindle fire? I found a lot of information, but don`t realy know from what to start. Do I need to root/how to root/how to install cm7 and a lot of other questions. Thank you and hopefully someone will reply. Thank you!

Browse around in the device's section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1306. The "Sticky" threads should be quite helpful.

I was able to flash and install ics. everything works just great! But it seems that I have an issue: When I leave my kindle alone for some time, sometimes it just doesn't want to unlock. I am trying to push the power button and nothing happens. After some time it starts to work again. What could be the cause of this/ how could I fix this?
