How you solved in the rom gallery sync? Mine is broken also in stock rom after trying some custom rom with fb contact sync

Just replace Gallery2.apk with GalleryGoogle.apk from the latest gapps pack.

But does this correct the corrupted account? Once installed the stock rom does it works again, or I have to change the apk a second time?

To be honest, I'm not sure about that. But if a reboot after replacing the apk didn't help, I would try removing and adding Google account again.

Thank you for adding Google Photos sync, I've been waiting for it to find its way back into a MIUI 4 rom. We surely miss the Brainmaster..

This rom sounds really promising, I'll flash and report back. :)

Edit: The Gallery sync only syncs my public photo albums, which is about 1% of my photos on Google. :( Hope you can fix this, until then I'll revert to Brainmasters MIUI 2.3.7b final.

That's strange. I just created an album in Picasa Web Albums with visibility set to "Only you" and it synced just fine to my Nexus S :/
