try it from within the recovery. via the fix permissions option or via adb while in recovery.

Flashed the recovery zip and I used ext2 . Great mod 3.5gb internal storage thanks for this

Yes, i've tried it with .62 and it's working.
Donno about Stock Kernel, as i've used CWM to flash it...

If you have installed doomkernel you can directly fix the permissions via CWM and dont have to use ADB.

Edit // WoW, it's working! 8GB of Internal Memory like the good old times with my Galaxy S i9000!

Edit 3 // i got bootloops

Just boot into CWM and fix permissions, then reboot.
P.S.: The I9000 had a bit over only 2 GB used by the system, the rest was like an sdcard

How can I do like only 300mb?

Create an EXT2 Partition on your SD Card like 2GB, flash DooMKernel and than flash this script via recovery.. you have to reboot 3 ways!


Edit // So by mine its working great but my pc doesnt recognize my phone as a masstorage device at the device self i can go in to the sd-ext and sdcard folder with no problems..

Am on the newest Firmware, using this mod and working fine.

Had to fix permissions 2 times, but that's it.
Also, i moved the file manually via a Root Explorer.
