Cyan Theme

Hi guys,

I have a black Lumia 800 but I bought a cyan case to try out. I like how it looks, but I quickly realised that none of the theme "accent" colours available looked right with it.

Here's my question: can anyone with a cyan lumia confirm that their phone comes with a special cyan accent? Or does it default to the standard wp7 blue?

Secondly, if it is the case that cyan lumias have a unique colour theme, does anyone know an easy way to add it to the black lumia?

Don't you have Nokia Blue as an option on yours?

None of the theme colors match the cyan accent of the cyan lumia version. Especially not Nokia blue. I use the mango orange theme instead.

The Teal theme is the closest match. Not my favorite though.

Thanks guys, I guess the next step is to figure out if there's any easy way to get a 'custom' accent set up on the phone.

It's times like this when I wish Windows Phone wasn't so dumbed-down.

It's not possible to add accents until someone can manage to get registry access on the Lumia and that means someone needs to figure out how to interop unlock the Lumia so... don't hold your breath.

The default Windows Phone blue (not Nokia blue) is the closest match. It's what ships as default on the Cyan version I'm pretty sure.

Interesting. I found that the default Blue still didn't match the Cyan case very well, which is what made me assume that the Cyan Lumia ships with a Cyan accent!

Update: So I thought I'd give it a proper chance, with the Windows Blue theme, and actually how well it matches depends on the light it's under. Outdoors I'd say it's a pretty perfect colour match. Under indoor light, not quite so much.

O2 now provide the current accent colour for the theme

I have made new theme. Is it cyan??
