Yes, I brought this out of its dev status and into "Alpha 0" status. That's zero for zero data, zero camera, and zero kanged from Evervolv so don't even bring that up. I compiled this from the msm8660 source provided by qualcomm. You can check it out in the links below. Please feel free to rename, re-upload, reuse, recycle, or do whatever with this, just make sure you actually improve something and throw my name in the credits.
Please note that the I9100 is not the I727 and any code that is released for them will be of little to no use to our community. Just a heads up, if you post something about the I9100 in this forum, you will probably get flamed.
the kernel is definitely an issue. xboarder said he had someone working on one, so maybe try the kernel he had used to get his up and running (from what i saw in the videos at least).

Was he using Da_g's CM7 0.43pre4, or was he just using Da_g's regular? Difficult to tell from the video...

Yes, I know I need drivers to get it to boot. However, this isn't just compiled AOSP 4.0.3 (if that's what you were thinking) this is a release from qualcomm based on the msm8660 chipset (which we have in our phones) I also never said it was easy... Why don't you just release your code right now? The community would really appreciate it.

no man sorry dont want to release a half assed product you will have to make a ics kernel to get it to boot at all
Fair enough. Although how about maybe sliding that kernel source my way, eh? *nudge* *nudge*
dont worry about kenrel source rom hasnt been released yet so when rom is posted i will have kernel source with it for everyone to use as soon as rom is built
The default boot animations on any device, no matter whichmanufacturer, are generally pretty … more
