[Q] Sanyo Zio rooting help!!!

Ok so today my friend said that he rooted his phone... he said here let me do it to yours so he rooted it installed a rom and now whenever i press power it will not turn on it just stays at the kyocera logo with white writing in the top left. BUT i figured out if i hold volume up, the home button, and the power button and turn it on it boots! great right? no not really as when ever it boots everything works properly BUT it is roaming all the time! i can still send text messages but i cannot call or use 3-g. Please help me get the stock rom back and instructions on how to download and install it! idk if any of this helps but here it is:
Android version: 2.2.1
Baseband version: 2.0.07n
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-perfcmd_public@cme-desktop #2
Build Number: v2.000cr.5c

Please help me anybody i bought this phone for a lot of money... buy the way its cricket not sprint

What rom did he install on your phone?

I did that also, while porting a rom to the Sanyo zio at the very beginning of the port I flashed it to the zio and ended up on the Verizon network and the only thing that worked was mms ..so I just reflashed openzio rom and all was good..

Unfornturately i do not know... right after this i thought unrooting my phone was a good idea because i thought it would fix the problem now i really cant see it in rom manager...

Just flash openzio 2.1.2 using the installation tutorial or flash my rom openzio 2.1.2 revamped using the same tutorial..I think all will be well after that...just remember roms are device specific..

Just goto the openzio 2.1.2 rom. (Developement)thread and its in there.

Thanks bro, but i have already decided im going to buy the ZTE score. Its so much better than this outdated piece of crap
