Default [Q] Reboots after official gingerbread update

Hi, I've just upgraded 2.2 to official 2.3 and on the first boot phone kept rebooting. I could see locker screen for 2 sec but then phone rebooted again and again the same. I managed to run the phone without sim and SD. It booted fine. Then I added SIM and SD and for now seems fine. Also, I was having reboots in app like Igo My way, and during video stream from youtube. I bet it will happen again. Any solutions to this problem?

I'd try to reflesh.
Maybe something went wrong... else there is something wrong within the rom itself.

I used that for a long time without any problem, but I have an old Desire (with the Amoled)... I don't know if it makes any difference, it shouldn't but...

I wanted to run RUU again, but when i hit first 'next' button in RUU it shows that usb debugging mode is on (I suppose it shouldn't be 'on' during the update). Then i check settings and there's no 'V' sign near the debugging mode so it looks like it is not 'on'. Does that matter during the update?

If I recall right you just need to plug in HTC Sync mode, so try to enable and disable debug mode.

I disabled debugging mode just before hitting the last button in RUU and then an error 170 appeared saying that installation has been aborted due to failed usb connection.

I experienced the same thing after upgrading to 2.3. My problem was the main board. Sent the the phone to service and everything is fine now. No more random reboots.

An hardware fault that comes out only with the 2.3? Odd...
