I had the same problem with root explorer not deleting apps so what i did: Instaled busybox instaler from market and then inside the app install busybox V1.19.3
Its kinda downgrade but it works very well

You could now upgrade with busybox installer (not busybox from stericsson) to V1.19.4. Problem is with version V1.19.4. inside the rom. If you replace that with V1.19.4 from busybox installer everything works.

I thought tis might of been fixed by now, but apparently not so.

All my images taken portrait are rotated to landscape. This is exceptionally annoying when trying to post images to twitter etc. Has anyone else got this issue and have they fixed it at all?

by instant dialing I guess you mean t9 dialer right?
Krarvind posted somewhere to use contacts.apk from his 3.0 version and replace in /system/app for this.. and there was some CWM flashable zip file too some pages before..

I've just tried to install the latest version, coming from JVU. I followed your guide, went to 2.6, then base 3.1 and then 3.1 essentials. The problem is that I lost my IMEI, it now says unknown. I'm trying to restore my efs backup but I'm not being able to be successful.
I'm following this guide:

Any tips? What should I do?

Try reflash modem for start.

I trie to reinstall the essentials package but still no IMEI. Any ideas on what could have gone wrong?
