Talking [APP][2.2+]TasKarou Launcher 2.0

TasKarou is a multitasking/task switcher with a touch of WebOs.

it overlays your home launcher, and make it easy, and fast to switch between apps through a WebOs like, or a grid based UI.

Launch TasKarou by clicking on the home button.
To access the home launcher, double click the home button from any apps, or single click the home button from TasKarou.

TO REMOVE THE ADDS, TasKarou Launcher Key is also available on the android market.

Features

Particularly useful for tablets, 'Quick controls' feature allows apps switching by swiping from the left or right edge of the screen.
Quick controls feature can be enabled without using TasKarou as a home launcher.

Version 2.0
added drag and drop functionality: you can now drag app icon to kill a running app, add it to your favorites in the bottom tray, uninstall it, or look for information about it in the market, or on the web.

made bottom tray scrollable. You can drag and drop as many favorite apps as you want in the bottom tray.

added ICS style tabs.

app optimization

Version 1.8
Added support for android 2.2 (froyo)

Version 1.7
Has two available layouts to display the running/recent tasks
Removable top tray shortcut to quickly toggle between the different layouts, and the type of apps (running/recent/both) they display

Accessed by clicking on the Home button.
Can be configured to launch either after a SINGLE CLICK, or after a DOUBLE CLICK; with the overlaid home launcher launching on the alternate action.

Display running apps with a blue background, and recent not running apps with a grey background.

Available from Android market, or attached to this thread.

I had that feature in the prior versions. I decided to take it out because it was a bit inconsistent, since the android API post 2.2 (froyo) doesn't garentee the app you're trying to kill will be immediately terminated at your request.

I will look into it. I initially decided to target 2.3.3+ as these are the only versions I have devices for I could test on.

Thanks for the feedback. My primary focus has been on feature completeness, and usability.
For the future updates, I plan to focus on polishing the app, both at the runtime/memory, and at the UI level.

Windows previews is a big one in my todo list. However it's pretty complex, and I'm still trying to get it to work. It's definitely possible though given the amount of screenshot apps in the android market.
Any hints/help regarding how to implement screenshot like functionality is definitely appreciated.
