Talking [Official] HTC Desire HD is getting and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update!!
As I have been searching the web, I found this post from HTC.

I'm assuming this would mean an update to at least sense 3.6 as well. It would make little sense for htc to build several different versions of ics sense.

Another things is that the Sensation XL will be released "soon after" the Sensation. So we will probably be getting custom ROM's based off Runnymede before the official one is released!
